The federal government on Tuesday stated it has acquired Rs 4,353 crore as dividend tranches from seven public sector enterprises, together with Coal India and PFC.
“Authorities has respectively acquired about Rs 575 crore and Rs 2038 crore from Nuclear Energy Company of India Ltd and Coal India Ltd as dividend tranches,” Division of Funding and Public Asset Administration (DIPAM) Secretary Tuhin Kanta Pandey tweeted.
Moreover, about Rs 887 crore and Rs 653 crore have been acquired from Energy Finance Company (PFC) and Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd as dividend tranches.
The federal government has additionally acquired about Rs 100 crore, Rs 33 crore and Rs 67 crore from BDL, Manganese Ore India Ltd and Cochin Shipyard Ltd, respectively.
Through the present monetary 12 months 2021-22 thus far, Rs 53,412.22 crore has been obtained by means of dividend from CPSEs.
