BRUSSELS: NATO allies will proceed to ship defensive weapons to Ukraine and are unanimous in supporting Kyiv, USSecretary of Protection Lloyd Austin mentioned on Wednesday as he arrived for a gathering together with his NATO counterparts.
“We stay united in our help of Ukraine,” he informed reporters. “We condemn Russia’s unprovoked and unjustified invasion … We help their (the Ukrainians’) capacity to defend themselves and can proceed to help them,” he mentioned, including that NATO’s pledge to defend all allies was “ironclad”.
Ukraine isn’t a member of the alliance.
Russia calls its actions in Ukraine a “particular operation”.
